Travel Note:If your flight arrives early in the day, you may continue with a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Karatu. This not only allows you to settle into the peaceful highlands but also reduces tomorrow’s journey to Serengeti from nearly 8 hours to approximately 4.5 hours, giving you more time to enjoy wildlife experiences and less time on the road.If your arrival is later in the evening or at night, we recommend an overnight stay in Arusha for proper rest before your safari begins. Upon arrival at your lodge, take time to unwind and soak in the tranquil surroundings. If time allows, enjoy a gentle stroll, browse local craft shops, or simply relax and enjoy the cool highland atmosphere. End the day with a delightful dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients before settling in for a peaceful night, surrounded by the serenity of Tanzania’s beautiful landscapes — the perfect beginning to your romantic safari experience.
